Military College to be 42,000-square-meter eight storey structure: “What can you possibly be thinking?”

The Jerusalem Post reports that the military college on the Mount of Olives is to be a 42,000-square-meter structure, eight storeys high.

The report quotes Daniel Seidemann, a specialist in legal and public issues in East Jerusalem, and founder of Terrestrial Jerusalem, as saying that the location ‘is problematic because the college has many ties with foreign militaries, who will be wary of the political implications of the location.

“I have received a number of phone calls from foreign governments saying, ‘What can you possibly be thinking? You are engaged in an act of self-ostracism,’” Seidemann said.’
